Abstract
In this study, advanced treatment method was performed for decolorization of the Acid Red 37 (AR37) azo dye using the photocatalytically method in the presence of TiO2 nanoparticles and 1x20 W a UV lamp. According to control studies, Acid red 37 (AR37) was removed at 99.9% rate at pH:4.0 and 5-10 min. As a result, it was determined that Acid red 37 azo dye could be eliminated the effectively using UV and TiO2 nanoparticles in the photocatalytic method. Also, this method could be utilized for removal of all azo dyes from waste water.
