He is a full member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences and the coordinator of the Energy Working Group, and works as a professor at Yıldız Technical University. He is also an honorary professor at the University of Ontario and an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University, the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo. Prof. is the winner of more than 15 national and international prestigious awards, including the "Premier's Research Excellence Award", one of Canada's most important awards. Dinçer is the editor-in-chief of important international journals: International Journal of Energy Research, International Journal of Exergy, International Journal of Global Warming and International Journal of Research, Innovation and Commercialization. He has many articles and papers on sustainable and renewable energy technologies, new energy storage methods, advanced cooling technologies, alternative energy strategies and policies.
